“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
There were seasons when progress felt slow, when movement felt stagnated and stalled, when it may appear that only little results are shown for enormous efforts. In such seasons, remember that God hasn’t forgotten you. Just remain faithful to God, stay in obedience of His words and commands and keep on preparing even when no one notices. In His time, God is accelerating your journey to a greater height. Doors will be opened, even the ones you don’t knock on, favor would find you where you don’t qualify, and growth would come faster than you expected. These will be accomplished not by strength, but by God’s power and grace. It is your season of Divine Acceleration!
Joseph’s experiences in Genesis 39 – 41 are examples of Biblical Testimonies of Divine Acceleration; Joseph moved from prison to prime minister in a single day. Years of hidden preparation were suddenly redeemed when God gave him wisdom and favor before Pharaoh. His testimony shows that delay is not denial – God can elevate instantly when purpose meets timing.
“God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.” He says – (Genesis 41:52)
David was another example in 1 Samuel 16 → 2 Samuel 5. He was anointed as a teenager but crowned king years later. Yet when God’s time came, his rise was decisive and undeniable. Opposition fell away, and the throne opened. Men travelled to meet him in the wilderness, just to make him king.
“The Lord was with David, and he became more and more powerful.” (2 Samuel 5:10)
What about Esther (Esther 2–5), an orphan girl, who became queen and savior of a nation. God accelerated her influence for a purpose greater than herself. – Her uncle, Mordecai commented, “And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)
Many Modern Businesses and professionals testify to sudden promotions, favor with decision-makers, and opportunities they did not pursue themselves—often after seasons of prayer, faithfulness, and surrender.
Chick-fil-A (owned by Truett Cathy), built on Christian values, integrity, and honoring God (including closing on Sundays), experienced extraordinary growth and customer loyalty. Cathy testified that obedience to God shaped both culture and success at Chick-fil-A. The leadership openly credits biblical values—integrity, generosity, servant leadership, and honoring God—as foundational to its success, which brought unusual favor and customer loyalty. Despite closing every Sunday, Chick-fil-A grew into one of the most profitable fast-food brands in the world. Their testimony reflects God’s favor through obedience rather than compromise.
“Seek first the kingdom of God… and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
